Like NBA Top Shot and NFL All Day, the Flow-based platform will serve up NFT collectibles based on notable video highlights.
The marketplace, called LaLiga Golazos, will open up to select users on October 27 and drop its first pack on that date. Both Top Shot and All Day held months-long closed beta tests that gradually added more and more users before eventually opening to the wider public.
Like those other sports offerings, LaLiga Golazos will sell NFT collectibles minted on the Dapper-created Flow blockchain, with video highlights turned into trading card-like assets that can then be sold and traded.
LaLiga Golazos —”golazos” means “spectacular goal” in Spanish — will sell bilingual NFTs that include play-by-play narration, player performance details, and match statistics in both English and Spanish.
Fans can sign up at the new website for the first pack, which is currently in closed beta and includes some of LaLiga’s fiercest rivalries, such as the legendary El Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, the cross-town Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, El Gran Derbi between Real Betis and Sevilla, and the Basque derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Club. The series will have all of the great games, assists, saves, and, of course, the legendary golazos. The platform’s collectibles will span notable moments from the league from 2005 until today.
Atlético de Madrid forward João Félix, FC Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, Real Madrid CF midfielder Luka Modrić, and FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen have signed on to promote the LaLiga Golazos launch and will be featured in marketing materials.
It is based on the Flow blockchain, like all other Dapper NFT collectible platforms. It offers Moments and packs with four levels of rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary. LaLiga North America, a project of Relevant Sports and the Spanish league, set up the first time that Dapper and LaLiga worked together.
From legends like David Silva, Joaquín or Aduriz, to up and coming stars like Yéremy or Musah, and some of the best to ever do it: Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. You’ll find them all on LaLiga Golazos.
